Daycare Teacher

The Lead teacher develops an overall curriculum in the classroom and activities for children to participate in. Monitor Caregivers within the classroom and give guidance. Assist director and supervisor to make sure there are orderly reports and parents are up to date.

• Must be at least 18 years of age and hold a high school diploma (or equivalent).

• Experience in care center preferred.

• Must pass criminal background check and complete the department-approved basic childcare course within the first three months of employment.

• Must complete a minimum of thirteen hours of department-approved training related to childcare yearly.

• Must possess maturity, good judgment and like working with children.
