Floater Teacher Pay: $16.50-$17.50/hrAssistant Teacher Pay: $16.50-$18/hrLead Teacher Pay: $20-$23/hrCloser Teacher Pay: $17-$19/hr
Age Groups:All positions are year-round permanent roles! NO seasonal or summer-only positions are available.
- Toddler Assistants (18-36 months)
Responsibilities:
- Develop a careful and creative program suitable for specific age groups of children
- Employ a variety of educational techniques (storytelling, educational play, media, etc.) to teach children
- Guide children to develop their artistic and practical capabilities through a carefully constructed curriculum
- Organize nap and snack hours and supervise children to ensure they are always safe.
- Track children’s progress and communicate with parents regularly
- Maintain a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and safety standards.
Qualifications:
- At least 18 years of age and a High School Diploma or GED.
- 1 year of experience working in a licensed childcare facility.
- CDA or degree in Early Childhood Education or Elementary Education (required for Lead Teacher positions)
- OCFS certification preferred
