Daytime Bartender- Happy Hour / Barista

Big Aztec Corner Bar is hiring an experienced hospitality professional for our daytime team inside the historic Aztec Theatre in Downtown San Antonio.

This is a full-time daytime position focused on breakfast, lunch and happy hour service. Our daytime operation runs 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, seven days a week.

Full-time team members generally work approximately four 10-hour shifts per week.

NO LATE-NIGHT CLOSING SHIFTS.

Average total earnings are $20+ per hour, including hourly wages, tips and performance bonuses. Actual earnings vary based on hours, business volume, tips and performance.

• Prepare and serve cocktails, beer and specialty beverages
  

• Prepare coffee and caf beverages
  

• Complete morning and daytime food prep
  

• Assemble and serve breakfast tacos and gourmet hot dogs
  

• Prepare aguas frescas and other beverages
  

• Take guest orders and provide friendly, efficient service
  

• Operate our restaurant POS and process payments
  

• Restock food, beverages and operating supplies
  

• Maintain a clean and organized bar, caf and food-service area
  

• Wash dishes and complete routine cleaning throughout the shift
  

• Help prepare the operation for the evening team
  

We are looking for someone with strong restaurant, bar, caf or hospitality experience who is comfortable working across several areas of the operation.

Applicants should be dependable, comfortable working independently, able to multitask and willing to help wherever needed during the shift.

• Previous restaurant, bar, caf or hospitality experience
  

• Restaurant POS experience
  

• Current TABC Seller/Server Certification
  

• Current Texas Food Handler Card
  

• Reliable transportation to Downtown San Antonio
  

• Availability for daytime shifts between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM, including weekends as scheduled
