Position Responsibilities:

Lead design projects in operational data centers, that remediate issues, upgrade existing infrastructure or add new services. Provide lifecycle support from design through implementation. Own the design for existing data center upgrades and design-solutions which add data center infrastructure, capacity, improve availability, and/or increase sustainability. Prepare and review short circuit coordination studies and maintain the software models to march as-built site conditions. Perform design and equipment submittal review for Data Centers in applicable region. Interface with internal and external data center design engineering team, server hardware team, environmental health and safety team, field engineering, and controls engineering to promote standards that maintain consistency and reliability in services delivered. Work on concurrent projects, sometimes in multiple geographical regions. Act as a technical subject matter expert for your given discipline during new remediation projects. Support construction, commissioning, operations, and turnover.

Position Requirements:

Bachelor"s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field and three years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Must have three years of experience in the following skills: (1) design experience with industrial or commercial engineering in Mission Critical facilities including data centers, power generation, oil / gas, or related facilities; (2) using a variety of web based and other software tools for calculation and data processing; (3) direct experience with the design, construction, operation, or maintenance of mission critical facilities; (4) experience as resident design engineer or hands-on (in the field) design consultant; and (5) understanding building codes and regulations for your region. Up to 25% domestic & international travel to perform role responsibilities may be required.
