Distribution Center Manager

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Distribution Center Manager. This role is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, managing leadership teams, driving productivity, ensuring inventory accuracy, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong experience in warehouse, logistics, grocery distribution, or supply chain operations and a proven ability to manage large teams while achieving operational and financial goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all day-to-day distribution center operations.
• Manage warehouse productivity, labor planning, and operational performance.
• Oversee inventory control, cycle counts, and physical inventories.
• Monitor and improve KPIs related to safety, quality, productivity, and service.
• Develop and implement operational processes to improve efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Manage scheduling, staffing, and workflow across multiple departments.
• Analyze inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
• Lead, coach, and develop managers, supervisors, and warehouse staff.
• Resolve employee concerns and promote a positive workplace culture.
• Manage warehouse financial performance and operational reporting.

Leadership Responsibilities

• Directly manage 4-12 department managers.
• Provide leadership for a workforce of 50-100+ employees.
• Conduct performance reviews and support employee development.
• Drive accountability, engagement, and operational excellence throughout the facility.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of warehouse, distribution center, logistics, or supply chain management experience.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and labor planning.
• Experience leading large teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Bilingual Spanish is a plus.

Physical Requirements
