Seeking a professional and motivated Engineering Technician to support a team designated to oversee the management of program related services in support of the Dry Combat Submersible (DCS) and Dry Deck Shelter (DDS) programs located in Little Creek, Virginia. The DCS/DDS Engineering Technician will be responsible for providing hands-on onsite mechanical services, hands-on onsite maintenance support services, troubleshooting, and technical expertise to meet all program specific requirements.

The following position is required for this effort:

Position: DDS/DCS Engineering Technician , Chesapeake Virginia.

Responsibilities:

Provide onsite hands-on maintenance, troubleshooting and technical expertise to ensure all work meets required specifications.

Installation and testing of advanced submarine technology.

Evaluation of specific deficiencies and sustainability of submarine/submersible systems and components.

Provide necessary mechanical/maintenance support while working alongside other Government agencies on common project deliverables.

Provide onsite hands-on maintenance, troubleshooting and technical expertise to meet all program specific requirements.

Perform other duties as assigned by the Officer-in-Charge

Personal Qualifications:

4 years of technical experience, supply chain administration, and use of MS Office suite products.

High School Diploma or GED + 4 years related experience OR

BA/BS + 1 year related experience

Desired Skills:

Knowledge of Submersibles

Quality Assurance/Quality Maintenance background

Prior Military submersible technical and/or electrical experience preferred

Preferred Military experience

Have a CDL certification

Have a forklift certification

Have a crane certification

Must Have:

Must currently have a Secret Clearance

Must be a US Citizen

Physical Requirements:

Lifting heavy objects may be required

Must be able to work in a warehouse/office workspace

Must be able to work outdoors in all-weather environments

Must be able to work in small spaces
