*** Sign on Bonus***-*** Without National Certification***-*** With National CertificationNational Certification can be one of the following:NCCTASTNBSTSAIf the candidate has significant CVOR specialty experience, the salary can be negotiable.SCHEDULE:Primarily Day Shift4x10-hour shifts per weekOn-call obligation requiredMINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:High school diploma or equivalentGraduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist program (required for hires post-2009)Minimum 1 year of experience as a Surgical TechnologistMust have Cardiovascular OR (CVOR) specialty experienceKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:Scrub responsibilities across neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populationsAbility to function independently within established protocolsCompetence in unit tasks assigned by the RNSound judgment, tact, diplomacy, and patient confidentialityProficient computer and keyboarding skillsSPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:BCLS CertificationCertification by an approved body (e.g., NBSTSA - CST, or NCCT - TS-C)
