Compensation: $50–$200/hour (based on Analyst Rating Score, credentials, and approvals)

We support fund managers, investors, independent sponsors, and operators across private markets by combining live deal flow, analytical support, investor relations, training, and placement into a single platform.
Our mission is to create immediate opportunity, institutional credibility, and real earning potential for serious transaction professionals. Once verified, associates are activated quickly—supporting live deals and paid engagements across the Initio Sphere network.
Initio Sphere is seeking qualified finance professionals to join the platform as Deal Analysis Associates.
This is not a traditional employment role. Deal Analysis Associates operate as independent contractors, activated through Initio Sphere’s certification, verification, and approval process.
Once approved, Deal Analysis Associates:
Are promoted within the Initio Sphere platform and deal network
Gain access to active private market transactions and paid analytical engagements
Support investors, fund managers, and operators through hands-on deal execution
Build a verified transaction track record and proprietary Analyst Rating Score
Certification tiers include:
Associate · Lead Associate · Senior Associate
Rating Score: 90–100
Pay: $150–$200/hour
Typical Background: Former investment banking, private equity, corporate development, or senior transaction advisory professionals with 5+ years of deal execution experience
Rating Score: 80–89
Pay: $100–$150/hour
Typical Background: Finance professionals with 3–5 years of transaction, diligence, or advanced financial modeling experience
Rating Score: 60–79
Pay: $50–$100/hour
Typical Background: Entry- to mid-level analysts or associates with strong financial analysis and transaction support capabilities
Deal Analysis Associates are engaged based on category-specific approvals, earned through assessment and demonstrated performance. Approved responsibilities may include:
Initial deal screening and investment thesis assessment
Transaction structuring and capital stack analysis
Support for investment committee and partner review materials
Coordination of diligence workstreams across advisors
Three-statement operating and transaction models
Acquisition, merger, and restructuring models
Returns analysis (IRR, MOIC, cash-on-cash)
Sensitivity, scenario, and downside case analysis
Comparable company and precedent transaction analysis
Football-field valuation summaries
Quality of Earnings (QoE) analysis support
Commercial, operational, and financial diligence
Risk identification and transaction-specific assessment
Investment memoranda, IC decks, and closing materials support
Associates may only perform work within categories they are formally approved for. Approvals are merit- and performance-based—not tenure-based.
Complete the Analyst Certification Assessment or approved Initio Sphere training
Receive category-specific approvals (Deal Analysis, Modeling, Valuation, Due Diligence)
Complete verification and onboarding
Begin earning immediately through hourly engagements and live deal execution work
No cold applications. No unpaid trial work.
Verified associates are actively promoted to investors, sponsors, and deal principals.
To qualify, candidates must meet at least one of the following:
Score 70% in at least one category of the Analyst Certification Assessment
Completion of Initio Sphere Financial Training
Active professional credential (CFA, CPA, Series 7, 63, 79, or equivalent)
Each Deal Analysis Associate receives a 0–100 Analyst Rating Score, which determines:
Platform visibility and promotion priority
Approved deal analysis and transaction support categories
Recommended hourly compensation range
Associates operate as independent contractors, not employees
Hourly rates are determined by Rating Score and approval tier
Associates may earn up to 10% of the first $100,000 in transaction fees
Maximum deal-based earning: $2,500 per transaction
Payments are issued only after successful transaction completion and fee collection
Initio Sphere reserves the right to revoke approvals for quality, performance, or compliance issues
Deal Analysis Associates do not:
Provide investment advice
Solicit securities
Represent Initio Sphere in a regulated or broker-dealer capacity
All work is limited to analytical, diligence, and transaction support functions and must comply with applicable securities laws and regulations.
