Initio Sphere is seeking qualified finance professionals to join as Certified Deal Evaluation Analysts.
This is not a traditional employment role. Analysts operate as independent contractors and are activated through our certification and verification process.
Deal Evaluation Analysts are responsible for assessing the financial strength, risk profile, and overall viability of private market transactions before capital deployment. The role focuses on structured analysis, underwriting review, valuation validation, and investment decision support.
Once approved, analysts:
Are promoted within the Initio Sphere platform
Gain access to live deal flow for structured evaluation
Analyze investment opportunities across private equity, venture, real estate, and structured finance
Identify strengths, weaknesses, and risk factors within transactions
Support investors and sponsors with data-driven decision insights
Build a verified deal track record and Analyst Rating Score
Certification tiers: Senior Analyst · Lead Analyst · Analyst / Associate Analyst
Rating Score: 90–100
Pay: $150–200/hour
Typical Background:
Former investment banking, private equity, venture capital, transaction advisory, or senior consulting professionals with 5+ years of transaction experience
Rating Score: 80–89
Pay: $100–150/hour
Typical Background:
Finance professionals with 3–5 years of underwriting, valuation, or deal execution experience
Rating Score: 60–79
Pay: $50–100/hour
Typical Background:
Entry to mid-level analysts with strong technical modeling and analytical capabilities
Depending on certification approvals, Deal Evaluation Analysts may be engaged for:
Evaluation of investment theses and return drivers
Review of capital structure and waterfall models
Commercial real estate underwriting analysis
Private company financial statement analysis
Stress testing and downside case modeling
Assessment of sponsor assumptions and projections
3-statement financial model development and review
DCF and LBO analysis
Comparable company and precedent transaction analysis
Sensitivity and scenario analysis
Football field valuation summaries
Quality of Earnings (QoE) analysis
Commercial and operational diligence review
Market positioning and competitive analysis
Identification of key financial and structural risks
Investment memo and summary support
Structured evaluation reports for investors
Highlighting material red flags and risk concentrations
Supporting go / no-go investment decisions
Ensuring financial consistency across transaction materials
Analysts may only perform work in categories they are approved for. Approvals are earned through assessment and performance—not tenure.
Complete the Analyst Certification Assessment or approved training
Receive category-specific approvals (Deal Evaluation, Modeling, Valuation, Due Diligence)
Get verified on the platform
Begin earning income immediately through hourly evaluation assignments and live deal work
No cold applying. No unpaid “experience.” Verified analysts are actively promoted to investors and deal sponsors for structured deal evaluation engagements.
To qualify, you must meet at least one of the following:
Score 70% in at least one category of the Analyst Certification Assessment
Complete Initio Sphere Financial Training
Hold an active professional credential (CFA, CPA, Series 7, 63, 79, or equivalent)
Each analyst receives a 0–100 Analyst Rating Score, which determines:
Visibility on the platform
Approved evaluation categories
Recommended hourly rates
Eligibility for higher-tier and complex deal assignments
Analysts are independent contractors, not employees
Hourly rates depend on Rating Score and approval level
Analysts may earn up to 10% of the first $100,000 in transaction fees
Maximum deal-based earning: $2,500 per transaction
Payments issued only after successful deal completion and fee collection
Initio Sphere reserves the right to revoke approvals for quality or compliance issues
Deal Evaluation Analysts do not:
Provide investment advice
Solicit securities
Represent Initio Sphere in a regulated capacity
All work is limited to analytical evaluation, diligence support, underwriting review, and financial analysis functions and must comply with applicable securities laws.
