Deal Flow Mentors are a key tier of our ecosystem—providing high-touch guidance to deal scouts, analysts, and fund sponsors while helping shape high-quality deal origination, evaluation, and execution.

Role Overview

Initio Sphere is onboarding Deal Flow Mentors to deliver mentorship, strategic guidance, and practical expertise in deal sourcing, evaluation, and introduction.
This is not a traditional employment role. Mentors operate as independent contractors, activated through a verification and approval process.

Once approved, Deal Flow Mentors:

• Guide analysts and deal scouts on sourcing, evaluating, and prioritizing high-quality transactions

• Advise fund managers and deal sponsors on deal positioning, structuring, and investor engagement

• Access curated deal flow, earning opportunities, and platform-driven exposure

• Build a verified Advisor Track Record within the Initio Sphere ecosystem

This role is ideal for experienced operators, ex-investment bankers, fund managers, or senior consultants with a proven record in deal origination, capital transactions, or private market advisory.

What You’ll Do (Approval-Based)

Approved Deal Flow Mentors may:

• Mentor deal scouts and analysts on sourcing proprietary or semi-proprietary investment opportunities

• Advise fund managers on capital strategy, LP engagement, and fundraising positioning

• Support deal sponsors with structuring, diligence oversight, and negotiation strategy

• Provide portfolio advisory services, operational insights, and value creation guidance

• Participate in curated introductions with institutional investors or co-investors

Mentors focus on deal origination guidance, strategic evaluation, and relationship-driven deal activation. Analysts handle day-to-day transactional modeling unless explicitly approved.

Eligible Advisory Areas

• Deal sourcing, evaluation, and prioritization strategies

• Fund formation, capital raising, and LP communications

• Deal structuring, investment committee support, and transaction strategy

• Mentorship and technical training for analysts and deal scouts

• Investor relations and network strategy

Approval is granted based on experience, track record, and demonstrated ability to mentor on real deal flow and capital transactions.

Compensation & Deal Economics

• Mentors are independent contractors

• Hourly rates: $200–$500, based on experience, track record, and engagement scope

• Transaction-based incentives may be earned for advisory on closed deals

• Payments issued after successful completion of advisory milestones or deal closure

• No cap on earning potential for consistent high-value contributions

How Mentors Get Activated

1. Submit a Deal Flow Mentor application with background, track record, and deal history

2. Complete verification and category approval

3. Get promoted within the Initio Sphere platform

4. Begin mentoring and advising on approved engagements

This ensures selectivity, credibility, and direct access to live, high-quality deal flow opportunities.

Compliance Notice

Deal Flow Mentors do not:

• Provide investment advice to the public

• Solicit securities

• Market investments outside approved channels

• Represent Initio Sphere in a regulated capacity

All mentorship and advisory work must comply with applicable securities laws and focus on strategic guidance, deal flow mentoring, and deal support.
