Deal Operations Associates support investment teams, legal, and operations teams by managing the end-to-end execution of investment deals and capital transactions. The role combines process management, transaction coordination, and operational oversight in fast-paced deal-making environments.
This position works closely with deal teams, portfolio managers, legal, and finance teams to ensure transactions are executed accurately, timely, and in compliance with internal and regulatory standards.
Support the execution and closing of investment deals, including private placements, fund commitments, and co-investments
Coordinate capital calls, subscription agreements, distributions, and other deal-related transactions
Track and reconcile deal activity across internal systems, fund administrators, and counterparties
Prepare deal summaries, reporting dashboards, and operational documentation for internal and external stakeholders
Collaborate with legal, compliance, and finance teams to ensure deal processes comply with internal policies and regulatory requirements
Monitor ongoing deal-related obligations and timelines to prevent delays or errors
Identify opportunities for process improvements or automation in deal operations
Support ad-hoc operational requests and audits from senior management
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
Familiarity with deal structuring, investment transactions, or fund operations
Knowledge of subscription, capital call, and distribution processes preferred
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Proficiency in Excel; experience with operational reporting tools, SQL, or VBA is a plus
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Clear written and verbal communication skills
Interest in private capital, investment operations, and deal execution
