Dealer Support Parts Specialist

Department: All Openings, Marketing & Sales, Warranty

POSITION SUMMARY:

Administer all aspects of Customer Accounts for domestic dealers.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Act as liaison between domestic dealers, domestic operators, and all departments involved in getting parts built and shipped.

Research technical parts questions to determine resolution or transfer to technical support personnel as deemed appropriate.

Interface with Parts Distribution Center regarding necessary information they need from any domestic dealers or operators.

Coordinate with Inventory Control to achieve the delivery of needed parts into Receiving for Company to ship parts to their final destination.Expedite critical parts orders with Inventory Control employees.

Prepare, track, maintain, and distribute invoices for parts sales.

Track progress and backorder of parts utilizing BaaN computer program to ensure shipment; distribute reports as required.

Assist dealers with replacing damaged or incorrect parts orders.

Computer Data Entry

Communicate with Dealers, Operators & Customers via telephone, facsimile and e-mail.

Other related duties as required.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

This job requires no supervisory responsibilities, may give direction, train or assist other team members.

QUALIFICATIONS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Minimum high school education or GED (general education degree), five years customer service/general office experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

Working knowledge of windows based computer programs is required to perform duties in this position. Specific Baan experience is a benefit for this position.

Level of education and experience will determine pay grade.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

The employee must possess the ability to communicate effectively with all internal and external customers in both written and oral form.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently works in an office environment. Overtime is required when necessary.
