Automotive Inventory Technician – $1,500 Sign-On Bonus

Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–4:30 PM or until route is completed


Route: Palo Alto, Sunnyvale, San Jose & surrounding areas


Pay: $26.00++ per hour + $1,500 Sign-On Bonus


Hourly pay is a combination of base pay and per-vehicle photo payout.
Potential flexibility based on experience and qualifications.


About the Role


Pro-MotionPix is hiring a dependable Automotive Inventory Technician to support automotive dealerships throughout the Palo Alto, Sunnyvale, and San Jose areas.


This is an active, field-based position where you'll travel between assigned dealerships, work with vehicles, communicate with dealership staff, and complete daily inventory assignments.


You'll locate vehicles and keys, move vehicles into designated areas, and use a company-issued iPhone and app to capture vehicle photos, 360° spins, and videos for online inventory.


No photography experience is required. We provide paid training and teach you our equipment, app, and process.


This is a structured, hands-on position focused on reliability, efficiency, communication, and attention to detail—not creative photography.


What You'll Do

• Travel to assigned dealerships using your own reliable vehicle
• Locate vehicles, keys, and dealership contacts
• Move and stage vehicles when needed
• Capture vehicle photos, videos, and 360° spins using a company-issued iPhone
• Communicate with dealership staff about missing vehicles, keys, or inventory questions
• Follow established procedures and complete daily assignments
• Walk dealership lots and work outdoors throughout the day
• Complete assigned routes efficiently while maintaining quality standards
• Represent Pro-MotionPix professionally at each dealership

Who We're Looking For


This position is a great fit for someone with experience in:

• Automotive: Porter, detailer, lot attendant, lube technician, inventory technician
• Warehouse: Material handler, warehouse associate, inventory worker
• Construction: General laborer, installer, trades
• Landscaping: Grounds worker, outdoor labor
• Delivery: Delivery driver, route driver, logistics
• Maintenance, facilities, moving, or other hands-on work

We're looking for someone who:

• Has a dependable work history and strong work ethic
• Works well independently with minimal supervision
• Is comfortable staying active and on their feet
• Can work outdoors in changing weather conditions
• Communicates professionally with dealership staff
• Can solve problems and adapt throughout the day
• Is comfortable using smartphones and learning new apps
• Takes pride in completing accurate, quality work

Requirements

• Valid driver's license
• Reliable vehicle
• Minimum 1 year of consistent work history preferred
• Automotive, warehouse, construction, landscaping, delivery, or similar experience preferred
• Ability to walk dealership lots and perform physical tasks throughout the day
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable using smartphones and mobile applications
• Manual transmission experience is a plus, but not required
• Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
