SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Provides effective leadership in the organization, administration, and supervision of student management, student safety, and student discipline.

QUALIFICATION

  • Educational: Masters degree required.
  • Experience: A minimum of three years of teaching experience and experience in an administrative or supervisory capacity.
  • Must possess successful experiences working with a diverse population of students and faculty.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provides leadership and monitors accountability of students behavior.
  • Ensures that students Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) are in compliance.
  • Ensures compliance with Suspended to School Suspensions and Expulsions expectations.
  • Develops measures to achieve effective implementation, proper evaluation, and continuous improvement of instruction.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of Response to Intervention (RTI) and Communicate effectively with students, families, staff members, and building personnel.
  • Demonstrates a high level of support and enthusiasm for the IPS culture, imperatives, and core values.
  • Actively commits to and participates in professional development.
  • Preserves and protects opportunity and equity for all children.
  • Professionally assumes other duties or responsibilities as directed.
