Dean of Enrollment Management

The Dean of Enrollment Management serves as a strategic and collaborative executive leader providing oversight for the College's Strategic Enrollment Management (SEM) framework and student success priorities. The position leads enrollment planning, recruitment, retention, persistence, and completion efforts to ensure a coordinated, student-centered experience from initial engagement through goal attainment.

Reporting to the Vice President of Student Learning & Success / Provost, the Dean provides leadership for integrated enrollment and student service operations, including Admissions & Recruitment, Advising, Counseling, Registrar & Scheduling, Financial Aid, and related programs. The role aligns departmental functions with institutional priorities while ensuring effective service delivery, compliance, and continuous improvement.

Screening Criteria

Minimum Qualifications

  • Education - A Master's degree in an area related to the responsibilities of the position such as Higher Education Administration, Education, Student Affairs, Business Administration, Public Administration, Organizational Leadership, Counseling, or a related field.

  • Experience - A minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible leadership experience in enrollment management, student services, student success, admissions, advising, financial aid, registrar operations, or a related higher education field. Experience must include personnel supervision, strategic planning, program development and evaluation, budget management, and data-informed decision-making.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience leading enrollment management, student services, or strategic enrollment planning in a comprehensive community college environment.
  • Experience supervising professional staff and managing departmental budgets.

Only degrees received from an accredited institution will be accepted: accreditation must be recognized by the office of degree authorization, US Department of Education, as required by ORS 348.609. Final candidate will be required to provide official transcripts for required degree.

Additional Posting Information

This is a full-time Exempt/Managerial (100%, 246 days/year) position in the Student, Learning & Success department. Starting compensation will be based on Grade N of the 2026-27 salary schedule, in accordance with initial placement per the current Management, Administrative, and Confidential Employee Handbook. Consideration will be given to related experience and educational achievement but generally not expected to exceed the midpoint of the range.

Rogue Community College is considered a qualifying public employer for the purposes of the Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program. Through the Public Service Loan Forgiveness program, full-time employees working at the College may qualify for forgiveness of the remaining balance on Direct Loans after 120 qualifying monthly payments under a qualifying repayment plan.
