Duties

Under the direction of the high school Principal, the high school Dean of Students promotes students' academic progress, ensures good attendance rates, school safety, and the prevention of campus violence. Additionally, they support the teaching staff by developing classroom management programs, identifying students with attendance issues or disciplinary problems, and addressing issues with parents to create a positive outcome. Finally, they establish development plans and evaluate the effectiveness of those programs.

Qualifications

Required Education/Experience:

Master''s Degree

Four years of teaching experience

Certifications, Licenses:

Professional Educator License (PEL) - Illinois

State of Illinois General Administrative Certificate

Salary/Benefits

Salary $104,328-$123,723

Medical and dental insurance with Board-paid TRS contributions.
