CERTIFICATION: Current WI DPI Teaching License - Early Adolescence- Adolescence; Administrative License (Principal) preferred
PERCENTAGE: 100%
START DATE: August 24, 2026 (new teacher orientation is August 17-20, 2026)
JOB DESCRIPTION: The Dean of Students will serve as a pivotal member of the WHS team, collaborating closely with administration and school staff to ensure a safe, orderly, and supportive environment conducive to student success. This role encompasses various responsibilities related to student discipline, safety, support services coordination, and engagement with parents and the community. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a positive school culture, promote student well-being and encourage positive school community building.

The Watertown School District has an enrollment of approximately 3,000 students taught in seven buildings. WHS's 75 teachers and 4 administrators serve 950 students on a 150-acre campus that includes two charter schools - Endeavor Charter School and eCampus Charter School. WHS provides an extensive curriculum for the students, as well as an array of athletic, non-athletic, and academic co-curricular activities for students.
THE COMMUNITY: The Watertown community has 24,000 residents and is located on the Rock River approximately halfway between Madison and Milwaukee, at the junction of Highways 16, 19, and 26.
