Position Description

Manhattan University seeks an innovative and dynamic Dean to lead the O'Malley School of Business through a transformative period of growth and renewal. The Dean will build on the University's current offerings and take the O'Malley School of Business to new levels of academic programming and excellence, responsive to the rapidly evolving, AI-infused workplace. They will be a key figure in strengthening the school's ties to industry, enhancing student career outcomes, and driving enrollment growth. This role requires a leader who is both academically proficient and deeply connected to the business community in New York City, capable of forging strong partnerships that benefit both students and the University.

The OMalley School of Business prepares students for rewarding and exceptional careers. The curriculum combines modern business theory with immersive, real-world practice, providing the skills students need to creatively solve the challenges of tomorrow. With more than 2,400 undergraduate students and more than 459 graduate students across three schools, the University pairs hands-on, technical education for an evolving world with a classic liberal arts and sciences foundation.

Reporting directly to the Provost, the Dean is responsible for ensuring the continuation of the exceptional reputation of the O'Malley School of Business. The Dean is expected to provide a broad vision for the business disciplines and further develop relationships with high-profile alumni, donors, and industry. The successful applicant must represent the School's academic programs effectively to the public, media, alumni/ae, donors, regulators, AACSB, and the Manhattan University Board of Trustees and the O'Malley School of Business Advisory Board.
