Debt Finance Associate or Counsel

A highly regarded boutique law firm is seeking a Debt Finance Associate or Counsel to join its Stamford office.

Representative Experience May Include

• Senior secured financings
• Mezzanine financings
• Acquisition financings
• Refinancing transactions
• Sponsor and lender-side finance work
• Drafting and negotiating credit agreements and ancillary loan documents
• Managing transactions from structuring through closing
• Coordinating directly with clients, opposing counsel, and deal teams

The ideal candidate will have:

• At least six years of debt finance experience
• Experience representing lenders and/or borrowers in sophisticated financing transactions
• Strong drafting, negotiation, analytical, and organizational skills
• The ability to independently manage complex matters
• Strong academic credentials
• Large law firm or equivalent transactional experience
• Connecticut Bar admission or eligibility for admission upon hire

New York Bar admission is a plus.
