Debt Recovery Officer

Spencer Clarke Group are seeking a Debt Recovery Officer for a local authority in Berkshire.

In this role, you will manage and recover outstanding Adult Social Care debt, working with customers and internal teams to achieve effective, fair and timely outcomes.

Duties:

• Recover outstanding Adult Social Care debt in line with agreed procedures.
• Contact customers to discuss debts and agree suitable repayment arrangements.
• Manage accounts, enquiries and correspondence accurately and efficiently.
• Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders to support debt recovery.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Experience of debt recovery or credit control.
• Experience managing high-volume customer accounts and enquiries.
• Experience negotiating repayment arrangements with customers.
• Experience using Microsoft Excel and maintaining accurate records.

What's on offer:

Salary: £23ph+

*may negotiate higher for exceptional candidates, based on experience*

Contract type: 3-6 months minimum

Hours: Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week
