Debt Specialist (Temp-to-Hire)

Onsite - Irvine, CA | $22/hour | Mon-Fri, 9 AM-6 PM

️ One 4-hour Saturday/month (get 4 hours off a weekday in exchange!)

Looking to grow your career in collections or account management? We're hiring Payment Specialists to join a fast-paced, high-energy team in Irvine! If you thrive on the phone and love helping people get back on track financially, this is your chance to shine.

What You'll Do

• Make 150-200 outbound calls/day to students 60+ days past due
• Negotiate payment plans and help resolve balances
• Use skip tracing tools (like People.com) to locate students
• Work toward daily & weekly performance goals
• Handle accounts with professionalism, confidence, and persistence

What We're Looking For

• 6 months-1 year in collections, sales, or negotiation-heavy roles
• Experience with high-volume calling (150-200/day)
• Fast typer (60+ WPM) & tech-savvy multitasker
• Assertive, confident communicator with "tough skin"
• Comfortable working in a metrics-driven environment
