Locations: Houston (IB3)   Business Units: CESBG   Job Classification: Non-Exempt   SummaryThe Debug Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, testing, and analyzing product failures to identify root causes and support production quality. This role performs debugging, failure analysis, test equipment support, and repair activities while working closely with engineering, quality, and production teams to ensure reliable products and customer satisfaction.Key Responsibilities• Perform functional testing, troubleshooting, and failure analysis on defective products.• Identify root causes of failures and support corrective actions.• Document test results and report recurring issues related to processes, materials, or equipment.• Maintain and troubleshoot test stations, tools, and related equipment.• Assist with test station setup, modifications, and improvements.• Support engineering systems and IT tools used in production.• Work with engineering, quality, and production teams to meet quality and production goals.• Communicate technical findings and support continuous improvement activities.• Ensure proper handling of products during testing, debugging, and repair.• Verify products meet quality requirements before release.• Support production schedules by prioritizing debugging and repair activities.• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.• Maintain debug tools, test equipment, and related infrastructure.• Complete shift reports documenting activities, findings, and issues.• Follow safety requirements and wear required PPE.• Maintain a positive, flexible, and team-oriented attitude.Basic Qualifications• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.• Good understanding of production processes.• Effective communication and teamwork skills.• Organized, reliable, and able to prioritize tasks.• Positive attitude with willingness to learn and adapt.Preferred Qualifications• Technical education or higher education is an advantage.• Willingness to travel internationally on short notice when required.Education and Experience• Entry-level position with an interest in electronics, manufacturing, troubleshooting, or IT.Our company is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE).
