Debug Test Technician

Job Title: De-Bug Test Technician
Type of Role: Contract to hire
Shift / Hours: 2nd Shift
Location: Carrollton, TX
Hourly Range: $18.00/hr to $21.00/hr (Depending on experience)

Nature of Duties:

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electronic and mechanical hardware and software issues using schematics, BOMs, and test procedures
• Perform component-level repair and rework on PCBAs, including replacing SMT components and integrated circuits
• Set up, operate, and interpret results from diagnostic equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and other test tools
• Conduct functional testing and validation to ensure products meet performance and quality standards
• Identify root causes of failures and implement effective corrective actions
• Maintain accurate documentation of repairs, test results, and failure analysis data
• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve product design, reliability, and manufacturing processes
• Support continuous improvement initiatives by providing feedback on recurring defects and process issues
• Ensure compliance with quality control standards and company procedures throughout the repair and testing process
• Communicate technical findings clearly with cross-functional teams including engineering and production
