Job Description For: BUCHER/ DECANTER OPERATOR

Location: Grandview, WA
Job Title: Bucher/ Decanter Operator
Reports To: Processing Manager

- Hours: 40+/week: Hourly

GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The bucher/decanter operator operates food processing equipment in a safe and efficient manner. Produce food products meeting all federal, state and customer requirements, regulations, and specifications. Follows established company policies and procedures.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Displays a positive attitude in a team environment
- Ability to follow written and verbal instruction
- Ability to maximize equipment operation
- Ability to understand process flows
- Good communication skills
- Ability to document activities on operator forms
- Strong knowledge of sanitation, CIP and COP procedures
- Ability to work safely around equipment
- Follow company policies and procedures
- Initiative to learn and cross train on other equipment
WORK EXPERIENCE & PERSONAL SKILL REQUIREMENTS
- Experience in the ingredient, beverage, or food processing industry
- Equipment operating experience
- Good reading, writing and verbal skills
- Strong teamwork skills
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Forklift operating skills.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- High School Diploma and/or equivalent or higher.
