With over 35 years in business, we have built a reputation for referring highly qualified professionals for rewarding short and long-term contract opportunities.One of our clients is seeking a Dedicated Aide to support K-12 students in the Washington, DC area.We are seeking a compassionate and student-centered Dedicated Aide to work 1 on 1 with students with disabilities in achieving their academic, behavioral, social, and developmental goals.SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY*Assist in the implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and accommodations.*Support students with disabilities in achieving academic, behavioral, and developmental goals.*Collaborate with teachers and support staff to modify instructional materials and learning activities as needed.*Implement classroom behavior management strategies and positive behavior interventions.*Support students in developing social skills, communication skills, self-regulation, and positive peer relationships.*Help maintain a structured, safe, and supportive classroom environment conducive to learning and student success.*Provide assistance with personal care, mobility, and daily living activities when required.*Work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, specialists, and support personnel to meet student needs.CLIENT'S REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE* High School Diploma or GED (Required)* Minimum of 1 year of experience working with children (SPED Experience Preferred)* Ability to support students with diverse learning and behavioral needs * Strong communication and teamwork skills * Ability to pass required background clearancesDTG ADVANTAGES* Weekly compensation * Flexible scheduling options * Access to a wide range of client opportunities * Opportunity to build professional experience in education and behavioral health * Connection with one of the nation's largest referral agencies in the fieldDELTA-T GROUP COMPANY MISSIONDelta-T Group has been in business for over 35 years, and connects professionals with client opportunities within the special education, social service, behavioral health, and disability sectors.
