    Kaukauna High School is seeking a Dedicated Building Substitute Teacher to join our team for the 2026/2027 school year. This position provides consistent, daily support by covering classes as needed throughout the school day, ensuring that learning continues while teachers are away.

    Unlike a traditional substitute position, our Building Substitute becomes part of the Kaukauna High School community. You''ll work in the same building each day, build relationships with students and staff, and play an important role in maintaining a positive learning environment.

    Primary Responsibilities

    • Provide classroom instruction during teacher absences across a variety of subject areas.
    • Implement lesson plans and maintain continuity of instruction.
    • Foster a safe, respectful, and productive classroom environment.
    • Build positive relationships with students and staff.
    • Demonstrate flexibility by supporting the school''s needs throughout the day.
    • Uphold the expectations and values of Kaukauna High School.

    Qualifications

    • Hold or be eligible for a Wisconsin substitute teaching license.
    • Demonstrate strong classroom management and communication skills.
    • Be dependable, professional, and adaptable.
    • Enjoy working with high school students and contributing to a collaborative school culture.
