LHH is partnering with a Consumer Product Manufacturing/Wholesale company on a temp-to-hire Deductions & Promotions Analyst opportunity. This role offers a hybrid schedule based out of their New York City office and provides the chance to join a growing, collaborative finance team. Responsibilities:

  • Review and validate customer deductions and promotional claims, ensuring alignment with agreed-upon terms and supporting documentation

  • Maintain accurate records related to trade spend, pricing programs, and customer allowances

  • Prepare and post month-end journal entries tied to promotional activity to support the close process

  • Analyze variances and investigate discrepancies by partnering with cross-functional teams to reconcile customer balances

  • Work closely with Accounting and Sales to ensure deductions are accurately recorded, applied, and resolved in a timely manner

  • Support high-volume deduction activity across key customer accounts

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in Finance, Accounts Receivable, or Deductions

  • Previous experience in a Consumer Product company highly preferred

  • Strong Excel skills including pivot tables/vlookups

  • Bachelor's Degree is strongly preferred

Schedule:

  • 3 days in office, 2 days remote in Midtown, Manhattan

Hours:

  • 9 - 5 PM, can work up to 40 hours per week

$28-33/hr

Pay Details: $28.00 to $33.00 per hour
