Litigation Associate – Insurance Defense (Labor Law Focus)

Location: New York, NY (Hybrid/In-Office)

We are a well-established insurance defense firm in NYC seeking a Litigation Associate to join our team. This role is ideal for a motivated attorney who is barred in New York and has 2+ years of litigation experience, preferably with a background in Labor Law 240(1), construction defect, or general liability defense.

Responsibilities:

• Manage a litigation caseload from inception through resolution
• Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery
• Take and defend depositions
• Argue motions in court
• Work closely with partners on strategy and case development
• Participate in trials and gain real courtroom experience

Requirements:

• Admission to the New York State Bar
• Minimum of 2 years of litigation experience
• Insurance defense and/or Labor Law experience preferred
• Excellent legal writing and oral advocacy skills
• Strong organizational and case management abilities
