Job Description

Our client, a well-established full-service law firm, is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join its dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will have extensive litigation experience, strong case management skills, and the ability to support attorneys through all phases of litigation, including trial preparation and courtroom support.

This position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of complex litigation matters in a collaborative and professional environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all phases of litigation from case inception through trial and post-trial activities.
  • Draft, prepare, and file legal documents in state and federal courts.
  • Coordinate and manage document production, discovery, and eDiscovery processes.
  • Organize, review, and summarize case files, pleadings, deposition transcripts, and evidence.
  • Assist attorneys with discovery responses, motions, trial preparation, and witness coordination.
  • Coordinate court filings, service of process, and case calendars to ensure compliance with deadlines.
  • Conduct legal and factual research as needed.
  • Prepare trial exhibits, trial binders, witness files, and courtroom presentation materials.
  • Support attorneys during trials, hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and depositions.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, experts, and vendors.

Required

  • Bachelor's degree and Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved or accredited program.
  • Minimum of 7 years of litigation paralegal experience in a law firm environment.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting attorneys through trial preparation and trial proceedings.
  • Strong knowledge of California and federal court procedures and filing requirements.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and legal case management software.
