Service and Deficiency Sales Representative 3S Incorporated is a leader in designing installing and service industrial fire alarm and fire suppression systems across North America. 3S Incorporated provides fire protection solutions to the automotive steel power generation petrochemical and energy industries.Summary3S is looking for an inside sales leader to join our team in Harrison OH. Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers is a core responsibility which includes engaging not only with direct clients but also with our API sister companies as well as collaborating with electrical and mechanical contractors. A successful candidate for this role would someone who has team first mentality self-driven bold empathetic and very resourceful. In addition the individual that has a competitive drive coupled with the exceptional ability to communicate effectively and concisely.ResponsibilitiesCustomer Solutions & Service OpportunitiesProvide tailored solutions for customers fire suppression andor fire alarm system service needs.Identify new service opportunities in collaboration with the account coordinator and inspection sales team.Support general service system upgrades and system modifications as opportunities arise.Quoting & ProposalsPrepare quotes for deficiency repairs based on technician inspection reports.Review all quotes with the Service Sales Leader prior to submission.Complete spare parts quotes for ongoing projects and for newexisting customers.Build cost sheets including labor equipment and subcontractor costs with guidance.Draft scopes of work for potential subcontractors particularly for installation labor.Prepare service-specific sales proposals with appropriate guidance.Customer Engagement & Internal CollaborationVisit customer facilities to conduct system surveys and provide consultations.Participate in internal organizational meetings includingMonthly Pre-WIP and WIP project financial meetings mandatory.Monthly service Pre-WIP and WIP meetings mandatory.Optional weekly project execution meetings attendance based on availability.Sales Territory & GrowthIdentify and pursue opportunities for growth within the existing customer base.Develop new business within an unrestricted sales territory.Assist in quoting service projects or other project work as needed under the guidance of the Service Sales Leader andor VP of Sales.Professional Development & TrainingActively participate in localregional fire protection organization meetings NFSA NFPA FSSA etc..Complete API LMS leadership courses for personal and professional development.Spend several days in the field each month during initial onboarding to shadow field leaders.Participate in manufacturer training once foundational system knowledge is established.Performance Review & DevelopmentConduct bi-weekly check-ins with the Service Sales Leader during the first year.Participate in monthly or more frequent check-ins after year one to support continued growth and development.QualificationsSales background is preferredBackground in Fire Protection is preferredMust be 21 years of ageMust have high school diplomaExcellent organizational and time management skillsValid US drivers license.Proficient in Microsoft 365 Outlook Excel Word PowerPoint Teams.Excellent communication and conflict resolution skillsMust pass background check and drug screeningBenefits and CompensationThis role will be based out of our Harrison OH branch.
