Advertised Job Summary
The Student Services Program Coordinator manages student educational planning and degree audit functions by maintaining curriculum data, validating academic records, and ensuring the accuracy of degree requirements within university systems. This position provides support to faculty, staff, advisors, and students by resolving degree audit and registration issues, interpreting academic policies, and assisting with curriculum and course exception processing. The coordinator monitors and analyzes student record data, identifies discrepancies, and collaborates with campus partners to implement solutions and process improvements. Additional responsibilities include supporting system functionality, training end users, and assisting with ongoing maintenance and enhancement of student information and educational planning systems.

Coordinate the scribing academic program requirements in DegreeWorks' Degree Auditing System by making necessary updates to align scribe detail with approved program requirements at the undergraduate, graduate, medical, law and pharmacy levels. Works with the Assistant Registrar for Academic Bulletins to ensure that scribe detail corresponds with published degree requirements.

Work with the Senior Associate registrar to coordinate the functionality and end user support of the Student Educational Planner (SEP).

Verify the accuracy of new scribing work by running tests; identify and resolve course equivalency and transfer articulation issues by working with Transfer Registrar staff; identify and report discrepancies in academic policies, procedures, and curricula. Work with the Senior Associate Registrar to address scribing issues related to the Financial Aid "Course Program of Study" module which leverages DegreeWorks data to determine Title IV Financial Aid eligibility.

Work with academic units to ensure the accuracy of new and amended scribe detail and templates in the Student Educational Planner. Assist and provide guidance on applying course exceptions, notes, interpretation of degree audits, and remedying audit issues.

Coordinate End User Support by providing curriculum validation and scribe support to (a) academic advising personnel (faculty and staff academic advisors as well as academic department personnel authorized with roles in the DegreeWorks system), and (b) students (undergraduate students and students in select graduate level programs). Assist the Senior Associate Registrar for Educational Planning in other miscellaneous duties as assigned.
