Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve deli meats, cheeses, and other specialty items with precision and care.
- Ensure the deli area is clean, organized, and well-stocked at all times.
- Assist customers with their orders, providing recommendations and answering questions.
- Maintain food safety standards and adhere to health regulations.
- Operate deli equipment, including slicers and scales, safely and efficiently.
- Handle cash and process transactions accurately at the register.
- Participate in inventory management and stock rotation to minimize waste.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a deli or food service environment is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills and a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
