Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Deli Clerk to join the team at our successful store. As a Deli Clerk, you will be responsible for operating the deli department to the high standards set forth by the company. You will slice lunch meats and cheeses.as specified in-store guidelines and follow the store’s deli merchandising plan. The Deli Clerks goal is to drive sales within the deli department and maximize profitability.

Responsibilities

Slice meats and cheeses using knives and power equipment
Package and display meat in an attractive manner
Order inventory and maintain appropriate levels of stock
Receive and inspect meat and cheese as it arrives to the store
Ensure the cold chain is unbroken and product remains high quality
Follow high standards of sanitation and quality control

Qualifications

Must be 18 years of age
High school diploma/GED required
Experience using meat cutting equipment, power equipment, and hand tools
Ability to stand for long periods and regularly lift 30lbs
