Main Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality customer service and ensure a positive shopping experience
  • Train, schedule, and supervise deli employees
  • Plan daily production and monitor inventory levels
  • Order supplies and maintain adequate stock levels
  • Prepare and display hot and cold deli foods
  • Operate deli equipment (slicers, scales, cash register)
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints
  • Promote deli products and increase department sales
  • Maintain cleanliness and follow food safety and sanitation standards
  • Perform daily temperature checks and inventory controls
  • Process customer transactions accurately (cash and card)
