    THE ROLE

    Our client is a leading global professional services firm seeking a Deals Delivering Deal Value Human Capital Diligence Senior Manager

    to join its growing team.


    In this role, you will support clients through complex mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and restructuring initiatives. Your work will include pre-deal HR due diligence, integration and separation planning, company stand-ups, and post-transaction execution.


    You will lead large, complex engagements, advise senior client stakeholders, oversee project teams, and identify opportunities to improve processes and maximize transaction value. This position requires a strategic, composed leader who can navigate ambiguity, connect complex information, and translate findings into clear and actionable recommendations.



    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Advise clients during pivotal business decisions involving mergers, acquisitions, integrations, divestitures, and organizational restructuring.
    • Lead pre-deal HR due diligence, integration planning, separation planning, company stand-ups, and execution activities.
    • Manage large projects, including workflows, timelines, deliverables, stakeholder expectations, resources, and budgets.
    • Build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders through clear communication, sound judgment, and practical strategic advice.
    • Prepare engagement materials and resources and lead meetings, presentations, and working sessions with clients.
    • Analyze complex business challenges using systems thinking to identify underlying issues, risks, and opportunities.
    • Develop clear, engaging presentations that connect findings and recommendations into a cohesive story.
    • Validate recommendations with clients, consider alternative perspectives, and incorporate feedback into project outcomes.
    • Lead teams through complex and uncertain situations while maintaining composure, accountability, and a high standard of work.
    • Coach, mentor, and provide timely, meaningful feedback to junior team members.
    • Build high-performing, collaborative, diverse, and inclusive project teams.
    • Identify opportunities to improve processes, encourage innovation, and achieve operational excellence.
    • Maintain professional, ethical, technical, and independence standards throughout all engagements.
    • Build and maintain strong professional networks and client relationships that support future business opportunities.


    REQUIREMENTS

    • A bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, organizational management, or a related discipline.
    • At least seven years of relevant professional experience.
    • Must have Due Diligence experience in the M&A / Deals space
    • Demonstrated experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, integrations, divestitures, separations, restructuring, or company stand-up initiatives.
    • Strong project-management experience, including responsibility for workflows, timelines, budgets, deliverables, and stakeholder expectations.
    • Experience communicating technical and complex matters clearly to senior stakeholders.
    • Proven ability to prepare materials and lead client meetings, workshops, and presentations.
    • Demonstrated experience supervising, coaching, and developing project teams.
    • Strong relationship-building and client-management skills.
    • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
    • Ability to work through ambiguity, solve complex problems, and determine when to act independently or escalate an issue.
    • An MBA or master’s degree in business administration, human resources management, organizational behaviour, or organizational management is preferred.
