Job Description
We are seeking a professional and reliable Delivery Driver to join our team in Louisville, United States. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate deliveries to our valued customers while representing our company with the highest standards of customer service.
Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport packages and goods to designated locations
Load and unload packages efficiently, ensuring proper handling of all items
Plan and optimize delivery routes for maximum efficiency
Verify delivery information and obtain necessary signatures upon delivery
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption
Conduct regular vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues
Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies
Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any concerns or inquiries professionally
Assist with additional tasks as assigned by management
Qualifications
Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
High school diploma or equivalent
Excellent navigation skills and familiarity with GPS technology
Strong time management and organizational abilities
Physical capability to lift and move packages of varying weights
Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Basic math skills for handling transactions and maintaining records
Knowledge of Louisville area roads and traffic patterns preferred
Previous delivery experience is a plus
