Job Description
Were looking for a reliable and customer-focused Delivery Driver to join our team at our Olivette location (9620 Olive Blvd). As a Delivery Driver, youll be the face of our organization, ensuring that every delivery is handled with professionalism and care. Safely operate a vehicle to deliver products to customers in a timely and professional manner
Navigate routes efficiently using GPS and mapping technology to optimize delivery schedules
Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation for all shipments
Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers courteously and addressing any questions or concerns
Inspect vehicles daily to ensure they are in safe, working condition and report any maintenance issues promptly
Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company driving policies to maintain a safe driving record
Load and unload delivery items carefully, ensuring products are handled with care and delivered in excellent condition
Communicate proactively with dispatch and management regarding delivery status, delays, or customer feedback
Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor while representing our organization
Meet delivery targets and performance goals while maintaining flexibility to adapt to changing priorities
Qualifications
Must be 18 years of age or older with a valid drivers license
Minimum 2 years of driving history (if 18 years old); minimum 1 year of driving history (if 19 years or older)
Access to a reliable, insured vehicle that meets company standards for delivery use
Must pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check and meet company-specific safety standards
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused mindset
Proficiency with GPS navigation systems and basic technology for route planning
Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple deliveries
Physical ability to lift, carry, and load packages safely (up to 50 lbs regularly)
Reliable, punctual, and dependable with a strong commitment to attendance
Knowledge of traffic laws, road safety practices, and defensive driving techniques
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and varying shift schedules as needed
Positive attitude, resilience, and willingness to work collaboratively with team members
