Job Description
We're looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Delivery Driver to join our team at our Diamond location (2255 E Division St). As a Delivery Driver, you'll be the face of our company, bringing exceptional service and smiles to our customers throughout the Diamond area. This is a flexible opportunity perfect for individuals who take pride in their work, maintain strong organizational skills, and are committed to delivering an outstanding customer experience with every stop.
Safely operate a vehicle to deliver products to customers in a timely and efficient manner
Plan and execute optimal delivery routes to maximize efficiency and minimize travel time
Provide friendly, professional customer service at each delivery point, ensuring customer satisfaction
Maintain accurate delivery records, including signatures, times, and any special instructions
Inspect vehicle daily for mechanical issues and perform routine maintenance checks
Handle products with care, ensuring items arrive in perfect condition
Communicate proactively with dispatch regarding delivery status, delays, or customer concerns
Follow all traffic laws and company safety protocols to ensure safe driving practices
Build positive relationships with regular customers and represent the company professionally
Organize and manage delivery schedules flexibly to meet business demands
Qualifications
Must be 18 years of age or older with a valid driver's license
Minimum 2 years of driving history with a clean Motor Vehicle Record meeting company standards
Access to a reliable, insured vehicle suitable for deliveries
Must pass a comprehensive criminal background check and Motor Vehicle Record Check
Strong time management and organizational skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Reliable, punctual, and committed to meeting delivery deadlines
Physical capability to safely load, unload, and handle delivery items
Positive attitude, friendly demeanor, and genuine customer service orientation
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
Familiarity with local Diamond area roads and neighborhoods (preferred)
Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge and responsibility for vehicle upkeep (preferred)
