Delivery Driver and Warehouse

Madden Industrial Craftsmen is looking to fill a Delivery Driver / Warehouse Assistant position for a commercial door manufacturer located in Hillsboro, OR. The person in this position will be assisting in their carpentry department and support activities of the carpentry and machining teams.

Pay: $22-$24/hr

Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Assist with loading and unloading doors, frames, and hardware onto delivery trucks.

• Help secure materials to ensure safe transportation.

• Make scheduled deliveries.

• Carry and move heavy doors and building materials safely.

• Verify delivery orders and ensure materials are delivered accurately.

• Assist with unloading materials

• Inspect products for damage before and after delivery.

• Maintain a clean and organized truck and warehouse area.

• Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA guidelines.

• Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift and carry up to 100 pounds with assistance.

• Comfortable performing physically demanding work throughout the day.

• Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.

• Strong communication and customer service skills.

• Forklift experience is a plus but not required.

• Previous warehouse, delivery, construction, or building materials experience is preferred.

Work Environment

• Indoor warehouse and outdoor job site environments.

• Frequent lifting, carrying, bending, and climbing in and out of a box truck.

• Exposure to varying weather conditions during deliveries.
