Delivery Driver - Summit, United States

Were looking for a reliable and customer-focused Delivery Driver to join our team in Summit. In this role, youll be the face of our organization, delivering products to our valued customers while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and service. As a Delivery Driver, youll operate independently on the road while working collaboratively with our in-store team to ensure smooth operations and exceptional customer experiences. This position offers variety, flexibility, and the opportunity to develop your skills in a supportive environment where your contributions are recognized and valued.

• Operate a reliable vehicle to deliver products safely and efficiently to customers throughout the Summit delivery area
• Navigate routes effectively using maps and GPS technology to locate addresses and optimize delivery schedules
• Manage multiple deliveries with accuracy and attention to detail, ensuring all orders are complete and correct
• Communicate professionally with customers, answering questions and providing excellent service at each stop
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including collecting payments and providing correct change
• Maintain organized records of deliveries, customer interactions, and any issues encountered
• Perform vehicle maintenance checks and report any mechanical concerns promptly
• Adapt to varying weather conditions and challenging terrain, including multi-story buildings and adverse environments
• Collaborate with the team to support in-store operations when not on delivery routes
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety standards to maintain a safe driving record
• Problem-solve independently when faced with delivery challenges or customer concerns

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• Valid drivers license with a minimum of two years of driving experience
• Reliable personal vehicle in good working condition for deliveries
• Current proof of vehicle insurance meeting company standards
• Safe driving record that meets company standards
• Ability to read maps and navigate addresses within designated delivery areas
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Friendly, positive attitude with excellent customer service skills
• Basic mathematical skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
• Ability to make correct monetary change
• Physical capability to lift, carry, and handle packages safely
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions
• Punctuality and strong reliability
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
• Familiarity with local roads and geography in the Summit area (preferred)
• Problem-solving skills and ability to handle challenging situations professionally
