Delivery Driver

Position is Driver for M&E Pathways through FedEx Ground.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks and vehicles of various sizes, to transport goods to designated locations.
• Load and unload items efficiently, utilizing equipment such as pallet jacks when necessary.
• Ensure that all deliveries are completed on time while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Provide outstanding customer service by communicating effectively with clients during deliveries.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including any discrepancies or issues encountered during transport.
• Conduct routine inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition and report any maintenance needs.
• Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including organizing inventory and preparing items for shipment.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role within the moving or warehouse industry is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with clients.
• Familiarity with operating box trucks and larger delivery vehicles is highly desirable.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and manage physical demands associated with loading and unloading goods.
• Knowledge of safe driving practices and traffic regulations.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for maintaining accurate delivery records.
• A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
