FlexTG is seeking a Delivery Driver & Install Specialist to join our team. In this customer-facing field role, you will provide premium white-glove final-mile delivery and installation services for office technology equipment while ensuring an exceptional customer experience from arrival through completion. The pay range for this role is from $20.00-$22.00 DOE
This position combines driving, logistics, equipment installation, customer service, and teamwork to help organizations get up and running successfully with their office technology solutions.
What You'll Do
- Deliver and install office equipment at customer locations while providing a professional white-glove experience.
- Safely operate company vehicles up to 26,000 lbs. GVW/GVWR.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and ensure compliance with all safety requirements.
- Load, secure, transport, and place equipment while protecting customer property and workspaces.
- Coordinate with customers, dispatch, scheduling teams, and remote technical support to ensure successful installations.
- Complete delivery documentation, proof of delivery records, serial number tracking, and required paperwork accurately.
- Manage equipment pickups, returns, and authorized hard drive removals in accordance with company procedures.
- Maintain inventory accuracy and accountability throughout the delivery process.
- Follow all company safety standards and participate in required safety meetings and training.
- Represent FlexTG professionally and provide outstanding customer service at every customer location.
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in delivery, installation, moving services, warehouse operations, field services, or a related hands-on customer-facing role.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Valid state-issued driver's license with an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
- Ability to obtain and maintain a valid Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Medical Card).
- Demonstrated commitment to safety practices and operating procedures.
- Strong customer service and professional communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
- Basic computer and mobile device proficiency, including tablets, smartphones, and Microsoft Office applications.
Preferred Qualifications
- White-glove final-mile delivery or installation experience.
- Experience delivering or installing office equipment, furniture, appliances, or similar products.
- Experience using liftgates, ramps, dollies, pallet jacks, and material handling equipment.
- Basic networking or IT knowledge, including device connectivity and setup.
- Experience operating box trucks up to 26,000 lbs. GVW/GVWR.
Physical Requirements
This position requires the ability to:
- Drive company vehicles for extended periods.
- Stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform physical tasks throughout the workday.
- Lift and move items up to 50 pounds independently or with assistance.
- Push, pull, and maneuver wheeled equipment weighing up to 300 pounds.
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and similar equipment.
- Work in warehouse, loading dock, delivery, and customer environments.
- Read and utilize electronic devices, paperwork, and delivery systems.
- Use smartphones, tablets, and other technology required for daily operations.
