We are looking for a dependable, customer-focused Part-Time Delivery Driver to join our team and help deliver exceptional service to our customers.
Position Summary
As a Part-Time Delivery Driver, you will safely and efficiently deliver customer grocery orders while representing Seasons Kosher Supermarket in a professional and courteous manner. You will also assist with preparing orders for delivery by ensuring items are accurately packed, labeled, and ready for transport.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver grocery orders to customers' homes, apartments, and businesses in a safe and timely manner.
- Review orders for accuracy before departing the store.
- Pack grocery items securely to help ensure products arrive in excellent condition.
- Label delivery orders accurately for efficient routing and distribution.
- Load and unload grocery orders using safe lifting practices.
- Follow assigned delivery routes while complying with all traffic laws and company policies.
- Provide friendly, professional customer service during every delivery.
- Maintain the cleanliness and basic upkeep of the delivery vehicle.
- Communicate delivery delays, customer concerns, or order issues to store management promptly.
- Support store operations as needed between scheduled deliveries.
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Previous delivery or customer service experience is a plus but not required.
- Ability to safely operate a delivery vehicle.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Ability to lift and carry grocery orders weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Availability to work a flexible part-time schedule, including weekends and holidays as business needs require.
