Position Summary We are seeking a dependable Local Flatbed Driver (CDL-exempt vehicle) to support daily operations out of our Magna, UT hub. This role is responsible for transporting equipment, parts, and materials locally using a long flatbed truck that does not require a CDL.
The ideal candidate is safety-focused, punctual, and comfortable handling basic loading/unloading of materials without the use of heavy material-handling equipment.
Key Responsibilities
Operate a non-CDL flatbed truck for local deliveries and pickups
Transport industrial parts, equipment, and materials between job sites, vendors, and facilities
Perform safe manual loading and unloading of items (no forklift or dolly requirement in most cases)
Secure all loads properly using straps, chains, or tie-downs as required
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
Maintain accurate delivery records, logs, and basic documentation
Follow all DOT-safe driving practices (as applicable to non-CDL operations)
Communicate effectively with dispatch, shop personnel, and site contacts
Ensure cleanliness and basic upkeep of assigned vehicle

7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Local routes only (home daily)
Requirements
Valid driver’s license (clean MVR preferred)
Current DOT medical card
Ability to operate a flatbed-style truck safely
Comfortable with physical activity (lifting, securing loads, climbing in/out of truck bed)
Strong reliability and punctuality
Ability to follow safety procedures and instructions
Prior delivery, construction, warehouse, or driving experience preferred but not required
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with flatbed tie-downs or hauling materials
Background in industrial, construction, or mechanical environments
Familiarity with local Utah driving routes
