Quantum Commercial is seeking a dependable and hardworking Delivery Driver to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering drywall, metal studs, insulation, and other building materials safely and efficiently to commercial job sites in and around the Charleston Area. Driver will sometimes be required to travel to other offices and job sites around the Southeast including Myrtle Beach, Greenville, Savannah, Spartanburg, etc. Truck will be returned daily to our Mount Pleasant office.

Job Title: Delivery Driver

Location: Charleston, SC

\n

Employment Type: Full-Time

\n

Schedule: Monday-Friday, occasional overtime available

\n

\n

Responsibilities

\n

Safely operate company delivery truck (small flatbed). Load, transport, and unload drywall, metal studs, building materials, and equipment where needed. Pick up material from commercial jobsites/vendors and deliver as needed. Deliver materials consistently and safely to their destination. Coordinate with onsite contacts for job specific delivery requirements. Inspect vehicle before and after deliveries. Maintain vehicle cleanliness. Verify delivery tickets and obtain any required information (quantities and signatures) needed for the main office. Maintain a clean, safe, and professional appearance when interacting with customers. Driver will be required to follow job specific safety requirements like wearing a hard hat and safety vest when required. Follow all DOT and company safety regulations. Assist in warehouse operations when not making deliveries.

Qualifications

\n

Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

\n

(CDL preferred but not required, depending on vehicle type).

\n

Ability to lift and carry heavy (50lbs - 75lbs) materials regularly and safely.

\n

Experience delivering building materials is a plus.

\n

Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.

\n

Good customer service and communication skills.

\n

Forklift experience is a plus.

\n
