Delivery Driver

Position Summary

Kushi Labs, LLC, a leader in the cannabis industry, is seeking an experienced Delivery Driver to join our team. The Delivery Driver is responsible for the safe, secure, and compliant transportation of cannabis products between company facilities, retail locations, and other approved destinations. This position ensures all deliveries are completed accurately, on schedule, and in accordance with New Jersey cannabis regulations and company policies. The Delivery Driver is responsible for loading and unloading products, maintaining delivery documentation, safeguarding inventory during transport, and providing professional customer service while representing Kushi Labs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

• Safely operate company delivery vehicles, including vans and box trucks, in compliance with all traffic laws and company policies.
• Transport cannabis products in strict accordance with all New Jersey cannabis regulations, including vehicle security requirements, manifests, possession limits, approved routes, and chain-of-custody procedures.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and promptly report any maintenance or safety concerns.
• Load, secure, transport, and unload products while ensuring inventory remains protected from damage, loss, or theft.
• Verify delivery manifests and ensure all products delivered match accompanying documentation.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and all required compliance records.
• Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
• Communicate with dispatch, logistics personnel, and customers regarding delivery status or any delays.
• Provide professional and courteous customer service during deliveries.
• Maintain the confidentiality and security of all products and company information during transport.
• Report any accidents, incidents, moving violations (business or personal), or vehicle-related issues immediately, as these may impact employment eligibility.
• Comply with all company safety policies and applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
• Assist with loading, unloading, and organizing inventory as needed at delivery locations.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support business operations.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

• Must be at least 25 years of age.
• Must possess a valid, non-expired state-issued driver's license.
• Must maintain an acceptable driving record (Motor Vehicle Record check required).
• Must be able to pass all required state-mandated background checks.
• Previous delivery driving experience is preferred.
• Experience driving cargo vans, box trucks, or other commercial vehicles is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of safe driving practices and route planning.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to accurately complete delivery documentation and maintain compliance records.
• Ability to work independently while managing time effectively.
• Forklift and pallet jack experience is a plus but not required.
• Ability to safely lift, move, and transport products throughout the workday.
