McCarthy Tire Service is a leader in the tire and transportation industry, committed to safety, service, and reliability. We are seeking a dependable Delivery Driver to join our team in Horseheads, NY. This is a local driving position, so you'll be home every day.
What You'll Do
- Follow assigned local delivery routes and schedules.
- Safely operate company vehicles in compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload tires and related products.
- Complete deliveries accurately and on time.
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections and basic preventive maintenance.
- Operate manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Assist with additional duties as needed.
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of delivery driving experience within the last 3 years.
- Box truck experience preferred.
- Valid U.S. driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screening.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Reliable, safety-focused, and team-oriented.
