Role Description\n

Gold Medal Delivery Service is seeking full-time Delivery Drivers to safely and efficiently deliver packages to residential and commercial customers in the Ooltewah, TN area.

\n

Drivers are responsible for managing an assigned delivery route, operating company-provided vehicles, delivering packages accurately and on time, and providing professional customer service throughout the day.

Responsibilities\n

• \n
• Safely operate company-provided delivery vehicles
• \n
• Complete assigned delivery routes safely, accurately, and efficiently
• \n
• Deliver packages to residential and commercial locations
• \n
• Load, organize, and unload packages throughout the workday
• \n
• Verify addresses and delivery information before completing deliveries
• \n
• Follow established delivery procedures and service requirements
• \n
• Maintain accurate package scans and delivery documentation
• \n
• Provide professional and courteous customer service
• \n
• Perform required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• \n
• Maintain communication with management regarding delays, service issues, or route changes
• \n
• Follow all company policies, traffic laws, and safety procedures
• \n
• Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle
• \n
• Assist other team members when operational needs require additional support
• \n

Qualifications\n

• \n
• Must be at least 21 years old
• \n
• Valid driver's license
• \n
• Acceptable driving record
• \n
• Ability to safely operate a commercial delivery vehicle
• \n
• Ability to navigate delivery routes using GPS and mobile technology
• \n
• Ability to repeatedly lift, carry, and handle packages throughout the workday
• \n
• Strong time-management and organizational skills
• \n
• Dependable attendance and punctuality
• \n
• Ability to work independently while remaining accountable to the team
• \n
• Strong communication and customer-service skills
• \n
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically active environment
• \n
• Delivery, transportation, logistics, or route-driving experience is preferred but not required
• \n
• Military driving or logistics experience is a plus
• \n
