Delivery Driver / Order Coordinator-Bowie

Blaze Pizza and Charleys Cheesesteaks in Bowie Town Center are seeking a dependable and highly organized Delivery Driver / Order Coordinator to support operations for a third-party delivery contract. This role plays a critical part in ensuring efficient coordination and timely delivery of orders between both restaurant locations and a nearby delivery site.

The ideal candidate demonstrates strong attention to detail, a high sense of urgency, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate delivery orders between Blaze Pizza and Charleys Cheesesteaks to ensure accuracy and efficiency
• Verify all orders are complete, accurate, and properly packaged prior to delivery
• Maintain clear and consistent communication with both store teams
• Deliver orders promptly to a designated delivery location (approximately 1 minute from store locations)
• Manage order flow and prioritize deliveries during peak business hours
• Monitor delivery times to ensure all orders meet required timelines
• Maintain a clean, safe, and reliable personal vehicle for deliveries
• Represent both brands with professionalism, punctuality, and strong customer service
• Identify and communicate any issues or delays to management in a timely manner

Qualifications

• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work with a strong sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable transportation with a clean and well-maintained vehicle
• Valid driver’s license and current auto insurance
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Dependable and punctual with consistent weekend availability
• Previous experience in delivery, food service, or order coordination is preferred, but not required

Work Schedule

• Saturdays and Sundays: 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM
• Consistent availability during scheduled hours is required

Compensation

• $15.00 per hour

Work Environment

This position operates in a fast-paced restaurant environment requiring frequent movement between two store locations and a nearby delivery site. Candidates must be comfortable working under time constraints and handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
