Empire Line Logistics is looking for dependable, safety-focused Delivery Drivers to join our growing team. The Delivery Driver will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting packages, products, and other shipments to customers and business locations while providing professional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a company vehicle to complete assigned delivery routes

• Pick up, transport, and deliver packages and shipments according to established schedules

• Load and unload products while taking care to prevent damage

• Verify delivery information and maintain accurate delivery records

• Follow assigned routes and use GPS/navigation systems effectively

• Communicate professionally with customers, dispatchers, and team members

• Obtain required signatures or delivery confirmations when applicable

• Inspect the vehicle before and after routes and report maintenance or safety concerns

• Follow all company policies, traffic laws, and safety procedures

• Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle

• Protect customer shipments and company property

• Meet established delivery schedules and productivity expectations

• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and a clean or acceptable driving record

• Previous delivery, driving, courier, logistics, or transportation experience preferred

• Safe and responsible driving habits

• Ability to follow directions and navigate efficiently

• Strong time-management and organizational skills

• Reliable attendance and punctuality

• Professional and customer-service-oriented attitude

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and coworkers

• Ability to safely lift, carry, load, and unload packages as required

• Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the workday

• Ability to lift and carry packages as required

• Ability to safely enter and exit a delivery vehicle repeatedly throughout the day

• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
